Knowledge and Experience

Dr. Lance Teramoto established his dental practice in 1985. He had just returned home to Honolulu from Washington D.C. where he completed his studies in dentistry. Born and raised in Mililani, Hawaii, Dr. Teramoto graduated from Leilehua High School in Wahiawa, Hawaii; earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California, and received his Doctorate in Dental Science (DDS) from Georgetown University, School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Teramoto believes that his education and training continues every day. Dr. Teramoto regularly updates his skills and knowledge by keeping abreast of the latest research available in the fields of general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. Regular attendance at professional seminars, study groups, annual conferences, and classes are imperative to his practice of offering his clients the highest levels of dental care and best practices in dentistry. He also receives regular technical training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies which specializes in teaching the latest cosmetic dental treatments.

Dr. Teramoto also is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Hawaii Dental Association, Honolulu County Dental Society, and Hawaii Dental Professional Study Club.

He enjoys time with his family – wife Liane and son Landon. In his spare time, he plays golf, coaches youth sports and is an avid collector of baseball memorabilia.
